The catalog is partially narrated through a selection of the author's journal entries, spanning a decade, starting from his days as a student at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. The inner dialogue tells of the ups and downs, joys and challenges of an artist finding his voice. Sprinkled throughout the book are quotes that were inspiring and transformative to his life and work. Artist statements accompany many of the series, which explore the natural elements, landscape, everyday miracles and present moment reflections.
